Title: Training Delivery & Design Specialist I Job Description:

The entry level training design and delivery specialist is responsible for providing learning events aimed at improving professional, clinical and a varying level of technical skills among learners. Responsibilities include design and development of training solutions, implementation of required courses and curriculum, supportive administrative functions, and measurement of learner and course success. This position fits the professional who has a passion for continuous learning and teaching. More than all other skills, this role requires a significant amount of flexibility and adaptability. Responsibilities:

  • Investigates the requirements for completing the assigned tasks, and creates project outlines and schedules training sessions.

  • Confers with client to gain knowledge of work situation; Identifies, interviews, and builds relationships with knowledge experts, technical staff, and management; Communicates with learners before, during and after learning events.

  • Performs needs, job, and task analysis to determine training approach for learners that would improve their success.

  • Delivers and maintains training material and aids including training roadmaps, instructor guides, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer-based tutorials, student guides, and reference materials; This position may research, select or develop the training program.

  • Delivers custom and standard training to learners through training sessions at the learners’ facilities, through web based sessions, or by class-based sessions at our facility; training sessions may include large or small groups in either a classroom or hands-on setting.

  • Participate in new client on-boarding training and implementations/go-live process.

  • Additional responsibilities may include participation in Command Center Readiness training, quality improvement calibration sessions, support of new business initiatives, and when not working on the above responsibilities, you may be required to provide continuous training and support analysts on the floor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Working knowledge of administering training sessions with online meeting tools such as WebEx, Go To Meeting and/or Go To training.

  • Ability to implement training programs using web-based tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, or similar learning management systems.

  • Ability to develop materials for training / reference, with a good standard of written communication.

  • Ability to maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with customers, internal clients, team members and other company personnel.

  • Maintains proficiency in all supported products and services.

  • Ability to complete job duties and assignments accurately, in a timely fashion, with punctual attendance, a good attitude and appearance.

  • Travel is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, technology, behavioral or social science or closely related field. Related work experience acceptable in lieu of formal education.

  • Professional and technical certifications preferred.

  • 0 to 3 years’ experience in the field or a related field.

  • Requested, but not required; Experience in developing e-learning training modules, working in a training environment, curriculum development; supporting multiple courses and projects at one time, using a variety of learning/training concepts and principles, skilled in technical training and/or documentation design.

  • Experience with clinical information systems & familiarity with healthcare and healthcare technology work flow preferred.
