Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Superintendent to join our team. This position will be responsible for actively engaging with our tenants on facility repair and maintenance issues and providing excellent service and timely resolution.  The Facilities Maintenance Superintendent will seek out and qualify outside contractors to service our facilities and supervise their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently
• Engaging with contractors for building repairs and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Proficiency in rough and finish carpentry is a plus
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measuring instruments
• Experience working with high voltage systems is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
