Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Forklift Operator and Material Handler for our 3rd shift team. In this role, you will prepare finished goods for outbound shipping, load shipments into the correct container trucks, and unload in-bound shipments, placing materials into proper storage areas. You will also be responsible for preparing necessary paperwork to document and expedite order fulfillment, moving raw materials and finished parts between production cells, staging areas, and the warehouse. You will operate electric-powered lift trucks, maintaining a safe driving record, and inspect the lift trucks for compliance with safety standards. This position requires operating a sitdown hilo 90-95% of the shift and loading approximately 10-14 trucks a day. The shift hours are from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with some overtime, typically maintaining a 40-hour workweek.

This is a fully on-site position in Troy, Michigan.

Work Environment

The work environment is not the cleanest and can be loud in some parts of the floor, though the warehouse is quiet. You will be working with a team of 5 others.
