Currently located conveniently off I-75 on Stephenson Hwy just north of 14 Mile Road in Troy, MI, we manufacture and distribute the highest quality wire cloth, robotic guarding, and wire partition products for customers around the world.

  • $17.00 / Hour Starting Wage, with $0.50 / Hour raises every 6 months after date of hire

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily instructions from Group Leaders, the Shop Foreman, and Office Management to ensure timely completion of all orders
  • Hang fence posts, panels, gates, and clips on the overhead conveyor line for powder coating
  • Trim fence and gates panels following powder coating using liquid paint tray and paint roller
  • Assemble wire mesh partition jobs using u-channel, woven diamond mesh, and various fasteners
  • Fill orders in our wire cloth department, which may including the cutting of material using presses, shears, hand cutters, and razor blades
  • Complete order paperwork & tag and transfer finished orders to the packaging or shipping department
  • Complete all jobs in accordance with daily production rates
  • Use shop floor equipment (presses, shears, grind wheels, cold saw, iron worker, etc.) as necessary
  • Setup, operate, and conduct daily preventative maintenance on shop floor equipment when using
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and quality procedures
  • React to change positively and with a customer-first mindset
  • Report on department inventory and required maintenance as scheduled or as necessary
  • Demonstrated competency may provide the opportunity to cross-train in different departments and an immediate increase in pay

Required Qualifications:

Must have great attention to detail (a high degree of accuracy in completing quality work the first time around is an absolute must)

Must possess a positive, can-do attitude and be self motivated

Must be team oriented and customer service driven

Must have an aptitude for learning & a willingness to be trained

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Ability to lift 60 LBs.

Experience using shop equipment preferred (i.e. grind wheels, cold saw, iron worker, etc.)
