About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our multi-tiered solutions by designing and implementing automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate has a solid background in quality assurance, technical expertise in testing tools, and experience working within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
WKey Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies for new projects, including defining quality gates and test plans.
Lead and mentor offshore QA engineers, conducting code reviews, and resolving issues.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, stakeholders) to understand business requirements and enforce quality standards.
Build and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium or TestCafe.
Identify opportunities for automation and design reusable, modular test automation solutions.
Ensure test automation goals are met and maintain high test coverage across all platforms.
Govern automated test code, analyze test results, and escalate quality risks when necessary.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and consistency.
Monitor CI/CD pipelines, enhancing them for improved testing capabilities.
Requirements
eRequired Skills and Experience:
Quality Assurance Experience (3-5 years minimum):
Proficiency with automated browser testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestCafe).
Solid understanding of testing techniques, best practices, and the ability to define and communicate QA plans.
Proven analytical skills to identify test scenarios and troubleshoot root causes in complex systems.
Experience with identifying new automation opportunities and integrating them into testing processes.
Technical Experience (3-5 years minimum):
Strong knowledge of database management (SQL/No-SQL) and the ability to write database queries.
Experience writing code in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, JavaScript, TypeScript).
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to support parallel releases.
Experience designing and implementing modular and reliable test automation frameworks.
Leadership and Communication:
Strong leadership abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities, mentoring others, and providing constructive feedback.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Quality Assurance certification (e.g., ASQ certification).
Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., K6).
Experience with modern technology stacks: Kubernetes, AWS, SQL & No-SQL databases, microservices, APIs.
Knowledge of additional development and deployment tools such as TFS/Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, SolarWinds/SentryOne Legitest.
Prior experience leading other QA engineers or technical resources.
