Aptiv seeks a Vehicle System Triage Lead Engineer in Troy, MI.

Duties: Summarizing and reporting on common failure trends to guide improvements in product development processes. • Coordinating test case design to match the system requirement. • Automating the identification of potential issues during VSYS4 and VSYS5 testing. • Triaging issues during vehicle preparation, summarizing them, and aligning with both internal engineers and external customers. • Review and improve the instrumentation for VSYS4 and VSYS5. • Identify and report common failure patterns and potential process shortcomings during product development. • Review test data process scripting.          

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field(s) plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation (s).

Requires 2 years of experience with: ADAS system development; Script with MATLAB and Python.; CAN network; Advanced evaluation and triage of system issues; Leadership in the design and coordination of test cases to meet system requirements; and spearheading automation efforts for issue identification.
