Vehicle System Triage Lead Engineer. Troy, MI.  Oversee triage process for vehicle system performance and compliance issues at advanced system levels. Lead team of triage engineers. Interface with System Test, Integration, and Problem Managers to ensure clear ownership and resolution paths for issues identified during testing. Lead design/coordination of test cases to meet system requirements. Spearhead automation efforts for issue identification. Summarize and report on common failure trends to guide improvements in product development processes. Coordinate test case design to match system requirements. Automate identification of potential issues during VSYS4 and VSYS5 testing. Triage issues during vehicle preparation, summarize, and align with internal engineers/external customers. Review and improve instrumentation for VSYS4 and VSYS5. Identify and report common failure patterns and process shortcomings during product development. Review test data process scripting.  Requires Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and two years of experience with performing validation and verification of automotive systems, developing and maintaining Design Verification Plans, performing verification of communication and diagnostic protocols, developing and maintaining automation test scripts, and use of CANoe, CANalyzer, and dSPACE HiL.
