Unity House Family Violence Prevention Coordinator in Troy, New York

Great opportunity to promote partnerships with community resources that help families in their time of need. Work with Unity House of Troy’s Domestic Violence Program in this new position.

Position eligible for a $750 sign on bonus.

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance and case management services to non-offending parent or guardian.

Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and safety planning to non-offending caretaker.

Work closely with Rensselaer County’s Child Protective Services.

Provide training and coordination of services to community partners.

Provide referrals and linkages to supportive services.

Utilize or develop best practices for case resolution.

Complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities.

Participate in rotating on-call system that requires some nights and weekends.

Promote a work culture of inclusion and belongings.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 3 years of related experience. Associates Preferred; 4 years of related experience. High school diploma required; 5 years related experience. Valid and clean NYS driver license required. Reliable transportation required.
