We are currently hiring a Head Pre-School Teacher, to work in our Tri-County Services Agency at Sunnyside Child Development Center. As the Head Pre-School Teacher, you would be responsible for:
Utilize the Troy City School District UPK curriculum and guidelines
Informally observe and evaluate children
Maintain files on children specifically related to social and cognitive group and development
Encourage and model social behaviors and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
Be available and responsive to children’s needs, question, and requests
This is a 10 month position that will begin in August 2023
Head Pre-School Teacher Minimum Salary: $20.00 per hour
Head Pre-School Teacher Maximum Salary: $20.00 per hour
Head Pre-School Teacher Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
1-3 Years of Experience in a daycare/preschool/classroom setting
Preferred: NYS Pre-School Teacher Certification or eligible to receive certification (we will work with you to help obtain certification)
