Job Summary:

Executive Chefs are visionary managers responsible for kitchen operations, promoting teamwork amongst staff, maintaining performance goals and guaranteeing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Job Specifications:

  • Outlet: Summit Smokehouse

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Seasonal

  • Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, development, and production of menu items

  • Oversee the culinary team including hiring, training and developing teammates, managing performance including reviews, and succession planning

  • Maintain standards for facility and food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Assist in budget process and forecasting for business, maintaining financial oversight of operational cost to budget

  • Oversee ordering/receiving, cost transfers, variance reports and inventory control of all food, beverages, and supplies purchased

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Culinary degree or certification preferred

  • ServSafe certification or regional equivalent required

  • 5+ years of high-volume restaurant experience required; management experience preferred

  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English; bilingual preferred

  • Ability to Ski or Snowboard strongly preferred

The expected pay range is $25.00 - $28.94. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
