Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Tucker, Georgia. This role is critical within our organization and requires someone who is highly detail-oriented. You will be working on-site, dealing with a high volume of AP invoices, utilizing various software systems and communicating with other branches.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of AP invoices, ensuring their accurate and efficient processing.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as NetSuite to manage and maintain accounts payable records.

• Communicate effectively with other branches for any necessary clarifications or adjustments.

• Conduct research as needed to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate payment processing.

• Use tools such as Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint for communication and data management purposes.

• Work as part of a team to ensure all accounting functions are completed accurately and on time.

• Utilize skills such as account coding and accrual accounting in the day-to-day handling of accounts payable.

• Use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to streamline and optimize accounting processes.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes.

• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions as part of the accounts payable function. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficiency in Account Coding procedures and practices

• Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Proficiency in using Concur for business expense management

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Strong understanding of standard Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles and practices

• Auditing experience, particularly within an Accounts Payable context

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures

• Experience with NetSuite software is highly desirable
