About the Position:

The classroom teacher develops and implements appropriate classroom activities in compliance with Licensing standards, follows and complies with all requirements and expectations including Infant and Toddler policies. The teacher is responsible for providing a nurturing and high-quality care environment in the classroom that reflects learning and personal growth and the abilities of the children in their care.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Establish and maintain a safe, nurturing, fun and inclusive and inviting environment.

  • Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum with daily routines that include and reflect children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

  • Supervise children both indoors and outdoors.

  • Plan and coordinate with other staff, ensure routines such as diapering toileting/training, hand washing, eating, napping and transitioning between activities are carried out.

  • Work effectively with other staff at the center to promote teamwork, maintain professionalism and a positive environment.

  • Perform related duties as needed.

    What You Will Bring:

  • Experience as a Childcare Teacher

  • Patience, flexibility and love for children, strong communication skills, time management

  • Basic care and caregiving activities

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education
