Description

We are on the lookout for a proficient Digital Technologist for a recently established, nonprofit museum in Tucson, Arizona. This role is open to a remote with a local preference, you will be predominantly focused on graphic design, website management, newsletter development, and potentially social media content creation and management.

This will be scheduled for a 2-4 month contract, with potential for extension. Hours will be part-time to start (15hrs. est.) for the first few weeks, then anticipated to increase to more full-time requirement (35-40hrs. est.)

Responsibilities:

• Graphic design, website management, constant contact newsletter development, PCloud, work with present designs in Canva and develop others.

• Qualtrics accounts via our email, evaluations, positive cloud storage for artifacts.

• Tours and volunteer set up.

• Understand the relationship between collaboration and networking

• Gain valuable experience in proofing and designing information for the museum.

• Understand requirements for making digital objects available online.

• Gain familiarity with a workplace that is fast-paced and adheres to deadlines

• Evaluate the success of the assigned projects and make recommendations

  Requirements

• Talented, creative and innovative individual - experience with Canva, Qualtrics and PCloud.

• Self-motivated but also able to work independently and with a team.

• Pay attention to detail – proofing and designing in accordance with articles.

• Interest in inclusive practices.

• Computer skills, including experience using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
