Community Health Systems Director of Nursing in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

This is a full time Director of Nursing position with oversight of Tucson Surgery Center.

Tucson Surgery Center, is an outpatient surgical center located at 2121 N Craycroft Rd. Bld 8.

Full Time position Monday - Friday, no call, no weekends, no holidays!

What you'll do:

Oversees all clinical operations and manages and coordinates activities of facility supervisors of Tucson Surgery Center and Tucson Endoscopy Center.

Ensures adherence to Center policies and procedures, oversees training of all new clinical employees and budgeting together with the Administrator.

Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and acts as Quality Manager for the Center(s). Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of latitude is expected. Reports to Regional Administrator.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing required.

Experience:

Five (5) years of experience in OR/ Periop required. Three (3) years in clinical leadership in ASC setting preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

BLS Basic Cardiac & ACLS ( American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Preferred: CPAN, CAPA, and/or CNOR
