Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Senior Metrology Database Support Engineer will manage, configure, update and maintain the calibration recall database.

What You Will DoWork with employees across multiple sites to update and configure the calibration recall system

Create custom reports to assists with internal processes and customer communications

Update records to ensure data integrity and accuracy

Assist other members of the metrology support team with customer needs in data entry and analysis

Develop and maintain department metrics around key performance indices

Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Experience in metrology, product test, quality, or software support with emphasis on quality compliance

Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF).

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We PreferExperience in the field of metrology

Ability to manage databases and program in SQL

Knowledge of Pascal/Delphi, VBScript, VBA, Power Query, C, C++, PowerShell, HTBasic

Experience with web design and IT support

Experience with IndySoft calibration management software

Knowledge of IndySoft calibration software

Knowledge of calibration quality standards

Current DOD Security Clearance

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
