PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $33.17-$40.53 hourly. The full Pay Range is $25.77-$47.93 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE :

As an Operations Support Specialist at BECU, you will be at the heart of the action, ensuring that the division’s leadership team has the resources and support they need to drive efficiency and success. You’ll directly influence how our business runs, helping stakeholders focus on strategic goals by taking care of the operational details.

By coordinating key activities, managing relationships, and supporting critical processes, you’ll play a key role in optimizing operations and delivering seamless, effective solutions. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on the smooth running of the division, fostering collaboration and enhancing the team’s overall performance.

You won’t just be supporting the team—you’ll be actively shaping the direction of the business, ensuring everything operates at its best.

* This is a hybrid role and may require you to be in the office (Tukwila Financial Center location) on an occasional as needed basis to support onsite meetings, set up etc. *

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Coordinate Projects and Deliverables: Lead the execution of business unit projects by organizing and tracking key deliverables. Work closely with project managers or division leaders to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

  • Manage Relationships and Communications: Be the central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Handle reporting, address issues, and maintain clear communication to ensure everyone is aligned.

  • Monitor Vendor Performance: Track how vendor-owned technology platforms are performing in relation to business unit processes. Gather and interpret data, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for improvements.

  • Maintain Business Unit Information: Keep important organizational information up to date, such as floor plans, org charts, and phone lists. Administer the division’s SharePoint site to ensure accurate, accessible information.

  • Support Business Continuity: Act as the point of contact for the division’s Business Continuity program, ensuring the division is prepared and able to recover quickly in the event of disruptions.

  • Plan and Coordinate Meetings & Events: Oversee the logistics of key business unit meetings and events, including managing expenses and coordinating travel arrangements. Ensure that everything runs smoothly so that stakeholders can focus on what matters most.

  • Take Meeting Minutes and Summaries: Attend meetings, take detailed minutes, and distribute summaries to ensure everyone is informed and aligned. Help prepare materials and reports for stakeholders.

  • Manage Supplies and Expenses: Keep track of office supply inventories, handle expense tracking, and ensure all expenses are reconciled in a timely manner.

  • Assist with Additional Duties: Take on additional tasks as assigned, supporting the division’s leadership team in any way you can to keep operations running smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.

  • Minimum two years of experience in related business operations support role in a medium to large organization required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting marketing operations, managing marketing-related projects, or collaborating with marketing teams to drive operational success.

  • Experience and competency using the Microsoft Office suite required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.

  • Proficient verbal and written skills required to effectively communicate.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

  • The ability to partner effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
