job summary:

Maintain the duties of your assigned position. - Only operate processing equipment as directed and according to company SOPs. - Maintain a clean and safe work area by keeping supplies and equipment organized. As necessary, report problems with equipment and/or materials to your line lead. - Communicate regularly with your production team to ensure work duties are completed in a timely manner and according to company SOPs. - Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively work in a fast-paced environment, with strong decision making skills and good judgment. - Demonstrates ability to work as a team player. Able to listen and follow basic instructions as directed. - Works in high noise areas and use mandatory hearing protection. - Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekend overtime or temporary reassignment to a different shift. - Able to work in cool temperatures (approx. 50° F in the production room and approx. 34 - 38° F near cooler). - Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

work hours: 5:00AM to 5:00PM

dress code:

Footwear: approved shoes or shoe covers must be worn while on MDS Foods premises, but not in the dirt/grass around the building. - Clothing not excessively loose, no holes, no pajamas and nothing hanging out of your pockets. No shorts or sleeveless shirts are allowed. - No jewelry is allowed (this includes watches, chains, body jewelry, tongue rings, music earbuds, etc.) The only exceptions are a plain ring with no stones and medical alert jewelry. - Hairnets must be worn by employees including those with shaved heads. All hair must be covered by hairnets. - Beardnets must be used to cover beards and moustaches. - All head coverings (i.e. hoodies, winter caps, bandanas) must always be fully covered by a hairnet. No ball caps. o Hairnets must first cover your hair, then you must use an additional hair net on top of your hat, etc. When hoodies are not in use, hoods must be tucked under your smock. - Smocks must be worn in Debox, Pack Off, and Processing areas as listed by color below:
