System One Accounting Associate in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Accounting Specialist

Position Summary: System One has partnered with a Tulsa company that is searching for an Accounting Specialist. This person will work directly with the controller and will be responsible for recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions, communicating with members regarding billing, adherence to accounting standards, documenting accounting processes, and organizing historical accounting records.

Responsibilities:

  • Process billing membership dues and fees

  • Reviewing membership staff transactions daily and coordinating manual deposits.

  • Enforcing violations and fines consistently.

  • Assisting with monthly account reconciliations, processing Accounts Payable items, and preparing schedules for audit reviews.

  • Organizing department historical records.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new programs.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with members and staff.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

  • Preferably an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field.

  • Minimum of two years of accounting experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
