Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Specializing in Agile management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), Rally etc.) along with experience with Lean-Agile principles, metrics, and technology and/or experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean Thinking, Lean Six Sigma;

  • Coaching clients and team members in becoming effective scrum masters, product owners and agile team members;

  • Leading as an Agile Coach on various types of projects, such as large scale transformations (ERP, HCM, CRM, etc.);

  • Facilitating preparation & readiness for ART & team-related Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, etc.) while maintaining all artifacts (Product Backlogs, Decisions, Blockers, etc.);

  • Challenging, coaching, and guiding an organization using Agile & lean principles, and experimenting with processes & tools that encourage continuous improvement;

  • Facilitating an ART and a team’s progress toward team goals, continuously engaging in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, & velocity;

  • Creating metrics to provide relevant feedback on velocity, quality, & the overall impact of efforts;

  • Supporting Product Managers & Product Owners in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope;

  • Eliminating impediments and actively addressing issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the Iteration;

  • Escalating as needed when blocking issues are beyond a team’s authority or require support from other teams; and,

  • Fostering a collaborative team environment through coaching & leading appropriately;

  • Enabling teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective lean-Agile practices;

  • Balancing data with understanding of upstream/downstream dependencies during decision making; and,

  • Developing verbal & written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is: $84,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
