Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving and delivering materials as well as assisting in various manual labor tasks within our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Work according to work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved or delivered.

  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.

  • Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.

  • Move products to chip bins and trash containers as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in material handling and general labor.

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and employ safe working habits.

  • Proficiency in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

  • Capability to read a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Heavy industrial material handling experience.

  • Machine operation experience is preferred.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment

Our non-climate controlled manufacturing facility operates Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 12am. This role requires flexibility and dedication to working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
