System One Payroll/HRIS Analyst in Tulsa, Oklahoma

System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Payroll/HRIS Analyst position. The individual will work with people who excel in their areas of expertise. The company is well-established and has a great reputation. They really care about their employees. Relocation assistance is provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, including special pay runs, is processed accurately and timely. Liaison between payroll and company supervisors/team members

  • Troubleshoot any payroll or timecard issues and communicate any sensitive payroll information to the appropriate parties

  • Document payroll policies and procedures and identify areas for process improvements

  • Assist with HR database maintenance and data entry

  • Handle the issuance/funding of pay cards to team members

  • Track vacation balance adjustments in the system

  • Enter all new hires into the payroll system and process updates for any changes

  • Direct and prepare all inputs on all verifications

  • Electronically submit multiple direct deposits, wire transfers and 401k funds

  • Ensure accuracy of and submit all Federal and State tax deposits weekly

  • Enter all payroll journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts to payroll, 401k and bank statements, handle W-2 processing and reports at year end

  • Compile and submit weekly and monthly payroll and federal reports

  • Work with departments to plan for the implementation of systems, assist with installation, development and deployment of HRIS systems. Develop and assist with end user training as it relates to HRIS functions

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to HRIS systems and provide support for such systems

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of payroll experience

  • Basic understanding of GAAP

  • Aptitude for payroll and HRIS systems and experience troubleshooting and supporting payroll/HRIS systems and interfacing them with ERP systems for time tracking and relevant general ledger entries

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines

  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal

  • Detail focused with thorough review of their work while also appreciating the big picture

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Positive attitude and a team player who works well with others across the organization

    Salary: $95K - $125K
