Actalent Services is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures, producing high-quality radiographs while maintaining safety measures. This role requires excellent patient care and communication skills, as well as proficiency in operating radiologic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.

• Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats while applying radiation and physical safety measures.

• Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.

• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.

• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.

• Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers.

• Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.

• Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.

• Basic Life Support certification.

Work Environment

• The position operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm, with rotating holidays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30000.00 - $70595.20
