This is a job for a Director of Infrastructure Design and Planning position with the company located in Tupelo, MS area.

Job Summary: Senior technology executive that provides strategic leadership for design engineering and technology architecture. This team is responsible for architecture and design of technology and infrastructure services, including data center and cloud, network and server services, service monitoring and alert management, workstation management, storage, and related software supporting those services.   This position is responsible for designing and architecting infrastructure solutions that provide the availability, performance, integrity, and compliance of technology and supporting systems.

Responsibilities: Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation, and seeks to leverage operational performance trends that create business value; consistent with the Company's requirements and expectations. Planning and implementation leadership, and identifies opportunities for automation, cost savings, and improved service quality. Active participation in the design of the Company's technology architecture; assessing feasibility, risk, implementation effort and sustaining costs; to ensure the designs are properly aligned with the Company's strategic imperatives. Develops and manages to appropriate standards, service levels, reporting, and architectural blueprints for technology infrastructure, in adherence to Technology and Risk Governance policies and controls. Acts as a business partner to clearly understand business unit drivers, goals and needs, and manage to those expectations. Manages employees and makes all decisions on personnel actions including staffing, performance management and compensation for a staff. Manages within budgetary constraints, monitors progress, and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Assist CTO in developing long term architecture patterns and solutions focused on reliability, scalability, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications: Bachelors or better. 15+ years' total experience, including 7+ years leading a complex, production 24/7 high-availability enterprise environment; utilizing multiple data centers (private, co-location, hybrid cloud, and SaaS), application hosting, voice and data networks, data security and protection. Experience architecting cloud-based application and data center solutions. Experience in enterprise web architecture and application development. Experience with data and integration architecture would be beneficial. Experienced with Cisco-based network communications technology, high availability and network optimization, disaster recovery architecture, virtualization strategies, storage area networks, and supporting systems. Experienced with COBIT and ITIL governance frameworks and adoption. Experience with matters of regulatory compliance, as well best practices in application and network security. Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business or similar discipline and work experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven experience building and leading high performing direct and virtual teams across multiple locations, time zones and organizational boundaries. Ability to work collaboratively with peers, both as a leader and a participant/follower without regard to hierarchy.
