Position: HVAC Service Technician

Location: Twin Falls, ID

Shift: Monday Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm

Compensation: \$18.00 - \$34.00 Hiring Bonus: up to \$2,500

Job Description:

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, such as air conditioners, furnaces, fan coils, heat pumps, ductless systems, and fireplaces. The HVAC Service Technician will also perform warranty services, emergency repairs and assist with customers\' queries.

  • Runs diagnostics, completes repairs, and runs routine maintenance on residential gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, ductless mini-splits, duct work, etc.
  • Educate customers by offering proactive repairs, system upgrades, and maintenance agreements
  • Travel to job sites within the service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
  • Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
  • Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain and replacement parts, calibrate system to manufactures recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • At least two years HVAC experience
  • Must have a valid EPA certification.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License and insurable driving record.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to lift 100lbs
  • Self-Motivated
  • Demonstrate ability to program thermostats.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on residential systems with minimal assistance and supervision.
  • Ability to work from a 28 extension ladder and 12 step ladder.
  • Ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given.
