Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

  • Assist in launching paid social advertisements by writing copy, scheduling campaigns, and uploading ads using Smartly.io

  • Collaborate with creative team to request ads and facilitate any necessary edits

  • Work with organic social team to manage paid content

  • Act as liaison between all internal departments and external vendors regarding status of jobs, assets, deadlines, and ad specifications

  • Generate reports using Smartly.io, Meta, and Appsflyer, highlighting campaign performance, analyzing key metrics, and providing insights for improvement

  • Work with internal compliance team to get approval on ads before going live

  • Monitor ad performance and track trends

  • Work with CRM team to acquire custom audiences lists for ad targeting

  • Maintains and respects confidentiality of marketing programs, guest information and databases

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with updating and organizing social ad calendar

  • Brainstorm new ad concepts and messaging

  • Stay informed about platform policies and ensure ads comply with guidelines and regulations

  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging cross-functional teamwork with internal departments

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and keep team informed on industry and platform news

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • One to two years of experience in paid social execution, preferably with app campaigns

  • Ability to analyze marketing campaigns, determine measurable results, and present recommendations and learnings

  • Self-directed and goal-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and within teams

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, vendors, and clients

  • Adheres to all rules and regulations set forth by the Mohegan Digital and Corporate Compliance, Mohegan Tribal Fire Department, Public Safety, and the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Commission regarding all social ad placements

Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

  • Strong understanding of social media advertising, data analysis, and the creative process

  • Grow analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Create targeted social media ad campaigns that help meet company goals

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment

Training Requirements:

  • Certifications as required by Mohegan

  • Mohegan Corporate and departmental policies and procedures

  • Appropriate regulations that pertain to Mohegan Information Systems

  • Keep up to date of industry trends.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Fast paced office work environment

  • Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
