Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $65,000- 75,000/yr. plus bonus. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Operations Analyst (Inventory Management) responsible to measure, analyze, and report on critical cost performance measurements and operation efficiency metrics. This role will identify areas for improvement, recommend improvement initiatives, and track the incorporation of the improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Audit and confirm the validity and accuracy of all data being reported data

  • Provide cost/benefit analysis for various projects, as needed

  • Cycle/Physical counts

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Working with general supervision, providing administrative services supporting warehouse inventory audits

  • Maintains an established schedule of cycle counts to suit inventory records and actual product on hand

  • Enters inventory adjustments into the computer-based inventory control system and generates nightly reports

  • Perform reconciliation & variance analysis of monthly operations expenses

  • Assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness; translate results into meaningful solutions to enhance decision-making; present findings to various levels of leadership

  • Create, monitor, and maintain metrics and key performance indicators, identifying resulting risks and opportunities

  • Review data capture processes and procedures; recommend modifications to systems to ensure all relevant metrics data elements are collected as a part of defined standard operational procedures

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Some recent clerical experience is needed.

  • Experience working with computer-based inventory management systems would be nice

  • Knowledge of inventory control systems

  • Inventory control and warehouse operations knowledge

  • Ability to work in detail and detect discrepancies and root cause issues.\

  • Willing to learn transactions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • WMS (warehouse management systems) is Nice to have.

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
