Your Role

As a QSHE Environment Specialist you will act as the point of contact for all environmental matters at the Union City, Georgia facility. You will be responsible for compiling data and creating comprehensive reports on company requirements and metrics related to environmental targets. You will be responsible for communicating environment related topics between the various departments. You will work Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and will be paid weekly at $29.25 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, establish and implement a local EnvironmentalManagement System (EMS) within the branch as required by the

• KN USEnvironmental Management System Policy Manual

• Lead an “Environmental Team” within the branch toregularly review and perform maintenance activities to the local EMS.

• Discuss, document and implement Environmental Aspects,Objectives, Targets for the branch.

• Provide backup documentation to support each Aspectwith attention to all legal requirements.

• Provide tools and equipment needed to support Aspects(recycle bins, lighting systems, substitution programs).

• Ensure all employees receive EMS training (global andlocal).

• Monthly reporting of GFCC online with documentednotification to branch employees of progress toward goals.

• Maintain environmental certifications if applicable, such asto ISO14001.

• Other duties may beassigned.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Minimum Education: High School Degree or Equivalent.

• A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in customer service or quality assurance.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.

• Experience with SAP or any Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is highly desired.

• Exercises initiative in following up on pending issues and action items.

• Ability to effectively solve problems.

• Ability to establishpriorities and multitask.
