Do you want to ensure that veterans have access to resources to overcome obstacles in order to find secure housing, stable employment, and a place within our community? Then we want you to join us as our Veterans Coordinator with our Union Grove Veterans Housing and Recovery Program! The Veterans Housing and Recovery Program has been active in Wisconsin since 1994 and our work is critical to help find resources for veterans in employment, housing, transportation, social growth, and more! We can support veterans for up to two years but some are able to complete the program in 6 to 10 months. The Veterans Coordinator performs a variety of tasks related client services including: managing resident intake paperwork, scheduling and administering of UA, room checks and managing screening of residents entering the building, cleaning of vacated rooms, light maintenance tasks, working with clinical team to address safety concerns and client behaviors, and other duties as assigned to ensure our veterans are safe during their time with us. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible opportunity. The anticipated hours for this position are between 8am-5pm. This position does include hours on the weekend for coordination of food service programs.
