We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our AutoCoding business. You will report into our Business Development Director and lead our business development team. You'll be accountable for generation, instigation and closure of sales opportunities, responding to new enquiries from within our existing customer base and with new customers. Our site is located in Cheshire and we would like you to be based fairly close to this location, in order to establishing communication and engagement with the team but this can be a remote role. On a given day, you may: You will attend on-site customer meetings, presentations, quotations/proposals as well as on-site packaging line surveys and collaboration with other internal sales colleagues within JBT. Recruit, train and monitor the performance of your sales teams by setting and reviewing goals and identifying any training needs. You'll guide them to meet quarterly and annual sales targets; manage full sales cycles from prospecting to closing. Develop specific actions, both long- and short-term, to build a network of contacts and build market intelligence on the industry Create an engaging sales plans, using both the systems and meetings, motivating the team and progressing sales Research, analyse and set price points to maximise sales and maintain healthy profit margins for our unique Turn-key solutions Identify opportunities by keeping track of competitor activity Use your industry knowledge to identify potential new markets and increase our market share Develop accurate forecasts and use a sales CRM to manage the sales pipeline and record information on prospects Requirements for the role We would like at least 5 years of experience working at a senior level within Sales Experience selling business applications and complex solutions within manufacturing Knowledge of the "system integration" industry and or the UK food industry and its leading players an advantage Building and mentoring winning sales teams Experience creating and selling concepts and solution-based proposals Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects Commercial negotiation skills Travel & Location Flexibility to travel around the UK required.
