In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better:

You will be part of the Philips Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) Business Group (BG), which provides affordable and integrated informatics solutions for health systems. We believe that by enabling intelligent decision-making and improving clinical pathways, our solutions will lead to better clinical, operational and financial outcomes across the health continuum. You will report directly to the Sr Manager, Data Services.

  • Working collaboratively with other functions including R&D, Project Management, Technical Consultants, Applications Consultants, Solution Architects, and third-party vendors on Data Services projects including Data Migrations, MRN Conversions, Data Cleansing, Data Reporting, etc.

  • Supporting the Supplier Selection Process cross functionally for sustaining and for new product development.

  • Drive the Data Services component of implementation projects to completion within budget and on time.

  • Ensuring that supplier related risks (cost, quality, availability) are anticipated, controlled, and mitigated.

  • Driving decision making processes for make or buy analysis.

  • Executing and supporting process improvement initiatives in relation to the Data Services product offering

  • Work with third party Data Migration vendors providing a liaison between the third-party vendors and Philips internal Project Management and resources

  • Identifying strategic cost reduction by significant contribution to design decisions, with product roadmaps in perspective.

  • Prepare and design detailed Data Services Implementation Plans that incorporates standard best practices along with custom requests to fulfill requirements outlined in the Statement of Work

  • Assist the Solution Architects with preparation of Statement of Work details for customer approval.

  • Attend pre-sales discussion with customer to determine Data Services strategy and approach.

  • Working with product ownership to track software defects in relation to Data Services tools, impact to customers during the implementation phases

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of academic and work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare information technology, radiology or cardiology informatics.

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service delivery with a focus on project management

  • PMP certified or working towards certification

  • Strong knowledge within Lean Six Sigma; minimum of Green Belt or equivalent experience

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, customer service and communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of Hardware solutions, Virtual computing environments and Networking solutions

  • Strong knowledge of database platforms such as: Oracle, SQL Server, others

  • Basic knowledge of the following DICOM, HL7 and Clinical workflow
