NBC Universal Senior Producer, TODAY in Universal City, California

  • Oversee and manage production teams including producers, associate producers, and correspondents from story inception through air

  • Coordinate with bureaus and Network Desk regarding staffing, planned stories, crew schedules, and coverage for the Today Show

  • Work with Standards & Legal Team to ensure Editorial Standards of all segments

  • Supervise direct reports

  • Pitch story ideas and coordinate production for daily broadcast

  • Review and re-write scripts

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ editorial experience working in production, preferably at the national level with morning television

  • 3+ years leadership experience as a people manager

  • Must have strong journalistic writing skills, research skills, and editorial judgment

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range:$170,000- $250,000 (bonus eligible)
