Summary:

Universal Studios Hollywood is in the process of transitioning to new reporting and pricing systems and sales platforms.  This position will help support these transitions and the various areas within Finance which are impacted by these systems – Business Intelligence, Revenue Management, and Ticketing Administration.  Additionally, this position will support systems currently employed by these areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Business Intelligence, Revenue Management and Ticketing Administration teams with project-based tasks.

  • Partner with I.T., Finance, Controllership, and other departments as needed.

  • Extract and validate data from various reporting platforms as well as reconcile and resolve discrepancies.

  • Benchmark and confirm historical data migration into new systems to assure reporting integrity has been maintained.

  • Assist with development of data extraction tools and reporting methods for cross functional use.

  • Assist with development of reports, forms, and processes for new technology platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience within Finance.

  • Strong Excel skills including the ability to understand and improve complex formulas and models.

  • Experience with SAP/BPC, Microstrategy, Domo, Galaxy, or similar enterprise reporting systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide spectrum of customers.

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, or VBA a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and data validation across multiple platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple concurrent assignments.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills – able to clearly link financial results to performance drivers.

  • Proactive thinker/self-starter.

  • High level of responsibility and a strong desire to produce quality work.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
