JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Inventory Control and Distribution Specialists monitor supply, equipment, product, material and other resource inventories; keep electronic databases updated; process requests and track orders; assist with quality assurance programs; oversee product take back, reuse, recycle, and similar programs; research and communicate product information and alternative solutions; resolve or refer discrepancies.

  • Monitor organizational product and resource inventories; coordinate with management to ensure inventories fulfill customer requirements

  • Maintain electronic database; record and update product nomenclature, pricing, codes, etc.; conduct spot checks and oversee physical inventories; address and resolve inconsistencies

  • Process supply, equipment, product, and material requests; track orders and invoices; ensure timely shipping and delivery; prepare and maintain contracts, transactions, and regulatory compliance documentation

  • Address and resolve order, inventory, shipping, delivery, and stock issuance discrepancies; refer issues to management as needed

  • alert management of short-fall concerns

  • Oversee product take back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibility disposed; suggest recycle or reuse opportunities to minimize new material consumption, reduce waste, or convert waste to by-products

  • Complete appropriate paperwork related to handling inventories and maintaining electronic inventory systems and/or web pages

  • Assist with quality assurance; monitor and record vendor and carrier performance; provide feedback; make improvement recommendations

Education and Experience:

Minimum requirement is a Bachelors Degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$51,000.00 - $74,000.00
