JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State's Center for Energy Law and Policy is seeking multiple research assistants, to support a variety of interdisciplinary research projects and are open to students in any degree program and at any level (undergraduate, professional or graduate programs) or previous students needing experience, such as those staying on optionalpractical training .

Research assistant positions will vary in length depending on the project and may run through the end of the Fall 2024 semester or Spring 2025.Selected candidates will work with an interdisciplinary faculty, staff attorney, and student team from law, economics, engineering and public policy. Each research assistant will have an assigned faculty mentor but will be expected to interact with other project students and faculty through regular conference calls and discussions.

Applications will be reviewed by project faculty participating and should include the following: Degree program, GPA and scheduled date of graduation for current students, and all applicants should submit short paragraph on research interests and internship objectives.  Selected recipients will receive an internship with an appointment of up to 10 hours per week at a wage of $11 per hour.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
