JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Smeal College of Business seeks to hire a teaching assistant. This position would assist the instructor, Prof. Paul Shrivastava for MBA course on Strategic Management BA571. The time frame for the course will be March 17-April 29, 2025. This position would be responsible for working closely with the instructor in all aspects of course management.
Duties include: Coordinate with the instructor on a regular basis to review daily activities and expectations for class/students Be present during all or, a portion of each class Keep attendance, communicate with students via email and Canvas Be familiar with readings and assignments and be prepared to help with questions Act as liaison between students and instructor Assist with compiling grades Assist administrative coordinator with various duties related to setting up each course.
Hours per week will vary based on needs and flow of work for each class. Estimated time would be 15 hours per week per section.
