Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Upper Marlboro, Maryland

Description

We are in search of a Human Resources Manager to support our client's team in UPPER MARLBORO, Maryland. This is an interim role, centered around managing and overseeing all HR functions within our organization. The HR Manager will ensure smooth and efficient business operations, including the administration of company policies, onboarding new hires, and employee relations. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of ADP Workforce Now and HRMS systems.

• Implement and manage all HR related functions including benefit functions and compensation administration.

• Build and maintain strong employee relations through effective communication and problem-solving.

• Lead the onboarding process for new hires and conduct new hire orientations.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to new hires to ensure their smooth transition into the company.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Consistently review HR policies and procedures, and recommend improvements when necessary.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now

• Solid familiarity with HRMS

• Demonstrated ability in executing Benefit Functions

• Experience in Compensation Administration

• Proven skills in handling Employee Relations

• Strong capabilities in Onboarding processes

• Expertise in conducting New Hire Orientations

• Ability to mentor new hires effectively
