Job Title: Wire Cutter

Job Description

Aerotek's client is currently seeking Wire Cutters to join their team. As a wire cutter, you be responsible for coiling, spooling, cutting and labeling wire according to specified ticket orders. Candidates will be working in the center or a large-scale distribution center supporting their outbound orders. Wire will vary in diameter leading this to be a very physical job. After cuts are made, orders are delivered to the routing and staging area. This position demands a strong attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. This position is a 2nd shift opportunity, hours are 1:00pm-finish Monday-Friday. Candidates will need to be comfortable working mandatory overtime, ranging from 2-10+ hours weekly.

Job Type

• This is a Contact-to-hire position with a duration of 6 Months - our client is looking for strong attendance and good work ethic during that time to go permanent afterwards

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in Upper Marlboro, Maryland

• Candidates will be working in a large, and fast-paced distribution warehouse

• Safety is top priority and candidate will need to be comfortable working around material handling equipment operators
