Job Summary:

This role reports into the Global Financial Controller will work closely with colleagues worldwide to ensure that the financial results of four North American operating entities, and several holding companies, are completed accurately and timely each month.

In this role, you will be a key member of the Controllership Leadership team and will work closely with Business Finance, FP&A, Operations, Order-to-Cash and other key business partners to help deliver the company targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and Federal regulatory reporting requirements

  • Serve as a technical accounting resource for the offshore North America accounting team for whom you will have indirect responsibility for.

  • Work with the offshore accounting team and cross functionally to analyze, understand and communicate drivers of variances as part of monthly or ad hoc reviews.

  • Perform key role in assisting the Global Controller with monthly close activities and preparation of any US financial reporting

  • Review and approve certain journal entries which exceed thresholds

  • Review and approve a variety of account reconciliations prepared by offshore teams to ensure continued improvement in quality and timeliness.

  • Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP and company requirements

  • Drive any audits involving North America entities to closure as required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / CPA highly preferred

  • 7+ years previous accounting experience (Big 4, public company and/or service industry preferred) ideally with prior experience of working in a private equity environment and dealing with M&A related activity

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate globally, cross-functionally and with people at all levels.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP with the ability to analyze, resolve and guide on technical accounting issues, including but not limited to ASC 606 & 842.

  • Awareness of non-US GAAP accounting standards, mainly IFRS, due to global span of the business.

  • Familiar with international group consolidation processes and complexities

  • Experience and knowledge of Workday Financials (preferred) or other cloud ERP solutions

  • Proficient in MS Excel and competent in Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage and internal and external reporting deadlines.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Strong team player, high energy level and willing to take initiative and drive projects to conclusion.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

102,400 USD

Maximum :

162,600 USD
