Advantive Technical Delivery Manager in US, United States
The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring we are delivering the right technical solutions to customers on time. The technical delivery manager deeply partners with product management, development, professional services, and customers to understand customer problems/needs and is responsible understanding the impact of delivering technical solutions that deliver customer value and are aligned to the customer’s deployment schedule.
Responsibilities:
Own the success and profitability of the product(s) you are responsible for by partnering with product management and development to deliver ongoing customer value and achieve business objectives
Partner with technical product owner, customers, and hardware vendors to ensure timely delivery of the right solution
Consider current solutions and determine the right build/buy/partner solution by balancing business and customer needs
Clearly communicate expected delivery schedules to stakeholders in partnership with product management, development, and professional services
Partner closely with technical product owner and professional services to align on priorities while evaluating go-live schedules
Ensure necessary education and documentation are available for employees and customers by partnering with technical writing and training teams
Perform onsite evaluations and meetings with customers and equipment vendors to understand requirements and potential solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to bring the product vision, roadmap, and appropriate areas of technical debt elimination into the product backlog
Identify opportunities to improve our launch process, product offerings, service offerings, and pricing to drive revenue and scale
Collaborate with the project team and extended teams to ensure the product backlog is visible with prioritized work and ongoing status communicated
Work closely with the product management and marketing team to support the development of successful go-to-market strategies and content
Ensure effective delivery of product documentation to support the go-to-market motion and to increase user awareness of new capabilities
Coordinate with professional services and customer support teams to ensure resources are properly supported for software testing, installation, and go-live

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a dynamic delivery manager, product owner, or product management role
Strong project management skills to plan, coordinate, an communicate delivery status
Deeply technical with the ability to understand technical challenges, make educated trade-offs, and influence architectural decisions
A sound understanding of enterprise-scale technologies, including applications hosted on the cloud and software as a service (SaaS)
Adept at developing a relationship with the relevant product and development managers to align the tactical capabilities with the strategic direction
Strong analytical skills and data driven product decision-making mindset
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead large, complex projects and initiatives from concept to delivery including defining and driving plans and timelines, weekly deliverables, and solving problems along the way
Experience with agile software development practices (e.g., scrum, Kanban, Lean Agile) and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
TRAVEL: this position may require up to 50% of travel
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, technology or related field
Preferred qualifications:
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Agile, Pragmatic Management Certification (PMC), Jobs To Be Done, Project Management, Scrum Product Owner
Experience working with projects deploying legacy manufacturing technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, RS-232) and modern manufacturing technologies (e.g., IoT devices, REST APIs)
Experience delivering solutions for both on-premises solutions and cloud-based solutions
