Netflix Security Engineer (L4), Enterprise Continuity in USA, United States

As the Resilience Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by owning and executing continuity assessments and annual reassessments. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow into our innovative methodology, contributing to the measurement of continuity capabilities, identifying areas of concern, and providing governance support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct continuity assessments for various assets, including cloud technology, on-premise technology, vendors, facilities, and business activities

  • Provide asset owners with quantitative scores and insights to track continuity progress and identify gaps

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather contextual information and understand the criticality and dependencies of assets

  • Assist in taking the gaps identified during assessments and work with asset owners on gap tracking and attestation

  • Identify and liaise with key stakeholders to develop, review, revise, and exercise continuity plans

  • Assist in the generation of reports and maintain dashboards to ensure teams have access to up-to-date continuity information

  • Support teams with continuity-related needs, including legal and regulatory requirements and specific project assistance

  • Contribute to the identification and testing of critically under-invested essential functions, supporting Netflix’s long-term DR strategy

Desired Background

  • Some experience in a mature BC/DR program, with a willingness to adapt to Netflix’s unique approach and embrace the challenges of the role

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with gathering, analyzing, and reporting program status, metrics, and KPIs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations.

  • Proficiency in technology systems relevant to continuity assessments, such as noggin and LogicGate

  • Reliable Team Player: As part of a small team, it's crucial that we can trust you to follow through on tasks and responsibilities without needing reminders. Your dependability and commitment to teamwork are essential.

    Compensation:

    Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is 100,000 - $720,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
