Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking three Shift Technicians for our Shelby Township location. This role involves ensuring equipment uptime through timely and in-depth troubleshooting and repair of various production and facility equipment. The schedule for this position is nights on a 2-2-3 schedule from 7pm to 7am.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair.

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of production equipment including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers.

• Troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, and other water filtration equipment.

• Work directly with machine operators, supervisors, and preventive maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues.

• Propose solutions to complex and reoccurring problems on production equipment to mechanics and management.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment.

• Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility.

• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with defined processes.

• Maintain industrial control systems.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance/repair experience, preferably in bottling or food and beverage industries.

• HMI/troubleshooting experience and computer proficiency.

• Experience with electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter and basic electrical skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Toolroom experience.

• Plastic injection experience.
