The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Barnwell, located in Valatie, NY, is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing.

• Salary starting at $115,000.00

  ADON Duties Include:

• Management responsibilities including maintaining exceptional quality of care.

• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.

• Serve the nursing needs of all residents in the facility.

• Assist in creating and directing care plans for nursing services.

• Maintain and disseminate knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.

• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.

• Assist with interviewing, hiring and orienting of new nursing staff.

• Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.

• Assist Director of Nursing with daily responsibility

  ADON Requirements Include:

• Current New York State RN license required.

• Min. 3yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings

• Staff training with clinical staff

• Excellent Communication Skills required

• Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision.
