As a member of the Martin’s family, t he HR Intern is responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the HR Team on various projects.

Summary: The HR Intern is responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the HR Team on various projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs research and develops solutions to assigned projects and tasks related to the HR function. Tracks progress, deadlines and priorities of all projects assigned.

  • Learns the operations aspects of the facility and how HR supports the operation.

  • Assets HR team in on-boarding new employees, developing new programs, and increasing employee communications with the facility.

  • Performs process analysis for current HR processes and procedures. Suggests potential alternatives to improve efficiency and timeliness; i.e. Oracle system utilization.

  • Supports recruiting process by posting advertisements, receiving applications and resumes.

  • Tactical duties as needed; i.e. filing, distribution, department communications, etc.

    Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED;

  • Currently attending accredited institution majoring in HR Management or Business Administration .

    Computer Skills:

  • K nowledge of Human Resource Information s ystems.

  • Internet.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.

  • Time keeping software.

  • Electronic mail.

  • P urchasing system.
