Who is Senior Aerospace Spencer?

Senior Aerospace Spencer is an engineer-driven organization focused on high-pressure hydraulic fluid fittings for use in commercial and military aerospace applications. We specialize in source-controlled, standard, and proprietary fittings. Senior Aerospace Spencer also identifies solutions for fluid conveyance challenges related to fitting applications. Our engineering capabilities include conceptual design assistance, modeling, testing and qualification. Our senior engineering professionals are active members of the SAE G3 Fluid Fitting committee and are recognized industry-wide for their expertise.

We are a domestic, in-house, on-site manufacturing company with over 300+ aggregate years of manufacturing, engineering and quality experience.

What does the job involve?

The Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Operate machinery in accordance with required specification.
  • Load and unload materials into machines.
  • Produce the required quantity of parts with the established specifications and tolerances.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure that proper setup and alignment.
  • Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Monitor machine during operation to ensure they are running and make any necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption with production needs.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Familiarity with machining tools and equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating needs.
  • Strong organizations skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperature varies depending on the season.
  • Ability to show up for work on time and work a flexible schedule as needed to meet production needs.
