Oracle Senior Systems Manager ONSITE in Valhalla, New York

Job Description

We’re looking for a Systems Manager in the servers and storage space to lead a team of dedicated engineers in support of legacy technologies and design and implementation of new technologies to meet the growing needs of healthcare system in Valhalla, NY.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for leading a team of 6-8 systems engineers responsible for the maintenance, upgrade, installation, decommissioning, and inventorying of server & storage assets across the enterprise.

  • You will support a number of geographically disperse datacenters supporting a mixed environment of on premise physical and virtual servers, SQL databases, SANs and other core technology assets

  • You will be responsible for participating in the overall technical architecture design and technology roadmap

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 or more years of experience with Information Technology

  • Enterprise work experience

  • Highly technical and knowledgeable in the server, storage and system administration area including VMWare, Citrix, Office 365 and VMWare VDI

  • System Architecture experience is highly preferred

  • Works well in faced paced environments

  • Demonstrable experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Resourceful, action-orientated with experience getting things done and overcoming obstacles.

  • Has experience with leading a team of engineers 6 persons or more

  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and “roll-up the sleeves” type of collaboration within a diverse, global, multi-functional team.

  • Demonstrable experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Must reside in or around the Valhalla, NY area

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $101,300 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
