Robert Half Call Center Specialist in Valley Stream, New York

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Call Center Specialist in Valley Stream, New York. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be the primary liaison for customers, dealing with both inbound and outbound calls and ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction. This role is central to our operations and requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with inquiries, requests, or concerns

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing professional and courteous support

• Ensure a positive customer experience through excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to process customer applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer records and monitor customer accounts for necessary action

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Operate within the framework of Call Center Operations, adhering to guidelines and procedures

• Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and resolve issues.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data entry and report generation tasks.

• Experience in answering inbound calls in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

• Knowledge and understanding of call center operations is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interaction with customers and team members.

• Ability to resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices would be advantageous.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a related discipline will be appreciated.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure in crisis situations.

• A customer-oriented mindset with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

• Flexibility to work in shifts as required by the business operations.

• Bilingual or multilingual skills would be a plus.
