Administrative Assistant Requisition ID: 40351 Job Location(s): Van Wert, OH, US Job Description Danfoss in Van Wert, OH, is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The role involves supporting leaders, colleagues, and external parties with a wide range of administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for organizing, ordering, and maintaining the inventory of general office supplies and storage areas. Additionally, they address and resolve administrative inquiries and questions. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Oversees the reception area, handles phone calls, screens and directs visitors and clients. Manages the building's USPS mail services, including receiving, sorting, and routing mail, preparing and depositing outgoing mail with appropriate postage nightly. Assists with UPS/FedEx shipment processing. Maintains mailroom supplies, postage, and equipment repair. Oversees document storage, filing, and records management in line with retention policies and vendor relations. Coordinates meetings and appointments, orders lunches for various sessions, and provides administrative support for facilities teams, including purchase order and supplier setup, requisition entry, and purchase order tracking. Updates and maintains standard operating procedures for all responsibilities. Qualifications: - High School diploma or a General Education Degree. - 1-3 years of professional work experience. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Concur is advantageous. - Possession of a valid driver's license. - Must be a Notary Public or have the capability to become one and maintain it. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
