MacKay Sposito is seeking a Business Development Assistant to work in our Vancouver, WA, office. Working in a team based environment, the Business Development Assistant is responsible for all marketing material/collateral updates, proposal organization and delivery, marketing project assistance, event and tradeshow coordination, and social media assistance. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required while on deadlines, but is not common.

  RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Update marketing materials including trade show collateral, project cut sheets, master resumes, and more

• Help maintain editorial calendar and create content for all social media platforms by working with technical staff, field staff, and the business development team

• Work with staff to create innovative, successful marketing concepts 

• Assist in client proposal and presentation preparation

• Deliver marketing materials for promotions and events

• Maintain proposal closeouts including capturing and organizing  unique text and images

• Assist with generating website content, blog posts, and website updates/maintenance

• Assist in project and event research

• Other duties as assigned 

  QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong organizational skills with ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, either independently or as part of a team

• Ability to provide excellent service to all customers both internally and externally

• Ability to create, develop, edit, and produce a variety of promotional, informational, motivational, and educational materials; strong writing skills are a must

• Computer proficiency, particularly in Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism preferred

• Interest or experience in graphic design, video production, and/or writing is a plus!

  Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

  The wage range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
