PeaceHealth Medical Staff Assistant II - Hybrid in Vancouver, Washington

PeaceHealth is seeking a Medical Staff Assistant II - Medical Staff Services for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $21.07 – $31.59. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Hybrid position less than 2 days per week onsite.

DETAILS OF THE POSITION:

  • Provides resources and support to various Medical Staff Department/Committee meetings and activities with coordination of agendas, meeting notices, meeting minutes and follow-up.

  • Enters, maintains, queries and reports data in the physician credentialing software system. Maintains the Standards of use of physician credentialing software system for all PH regions.

  • Queries applicable agencies and organization in accordance with Medical Staff policy and Joint Commission standards as requested or assigned by Coordinators.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Required: Completion of business school or secretarial science training required or a combination of education and experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job

  • Minimum of 3 years Required: Previous office/business experience, preferably in a Medical Staff Services office

  • Preferred: Certified Professional Medical Services Management or

  • Preferred: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist

  • Skills in problem solving, verbal and written communication, and organizing and disseminate complex and confidential information is demonstrated. (Required)

  • Proficient computer use including MD Office applications. (Required)

  • Knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred)
