About this Role

T.G. Mercer, a Quanta Services company, is looking for an experiencedQA/QC Field Associate & Material Inspectorto join our team inTacoma, WA.

As aQA/QC Field Associate & Material Inspectorat you will play a pivotal role in inspection, coordination, and documentation of inbound and outbound materials at our Tacoma, WA site.

What You'll Do

• Ensuring quality of product deliveries via inbound containers and coordinating outbound shipments.

• Execute processes efficiently and safely, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all documentation is complete.

• Assess the condition of received goods, report damages, discrepancies, or defects, and take appropriate action as needed and upload them into the Transportation Management System (TMS).

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.

• Prepare and submit inspection reports as required by company policies.

• Work with local 3rd Party Warehouse Operators to ensure all necessary documentation.(e.g., BOLs, packing lists, shipping manifests)

What You'll Bring

• Ability to collaborate with team members, local warehouse operators, and field teams to ensure smooth cargo operations.

• Experience in handling and resolving issues related to damaged or missing cargo, with appropriate documentation and communication.

• Strong understanding of company policies, safety protocols, and government regulations to ensure compliance.

• Experience working with transportation and logistics processes, including overseeing the loading/unloading of materials and coordinating shipments.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
